Plant care 101 starts with understanding how much water and how much sunlight your plant will need. These two are the most crucial parts of ensuring your plant is happy and healthy. However, this is a very fine line. Many of us tend to over-water or think our plant needs more sunlight – when really it needs less.
Things to know before you grow
We all know that there are many benefits to having plants at home around you. Having plants around boosts our mood, reduces stress, inspires creativity, and helps clean the air around us – but we need to remember to reciprocate all this positivity back to the plants themselves! It may sound silly, but words of kindness, playing music, and good energy will help the plants be happy and healthy as well.
Plants can help you create a happy home, even in the smallest of apartments! Some of the best plants for apartment dwellers are:
- Snake plant
- Spider plant
- Money tree
All of these plants are fairly easy to manage, and normally do not attract any unwanted pests! However, if you happen to have pets at home, you may need to take that into consideration as some plants can be poisonous to our furry friends.
